NEW Intrinsically-Safe Relays
February, 2008

Macromatic announces the availability of their new Intrinsically Safe Relay line.  These products provide a safe and reliable method to control a load with an input device located in a hazardous area.  They are incapable of releasing sufficient energy to cause an accidental ignition of hazardous material by minimizing the current level on the input side of the unit.  Our relays are UL 913 Listed for Class I, Groups A, B, C, D, Class II, Groups E, F, G and Class III hazardous locations.  They make costly explosion-proof enclosures with their special mounting requirements unnecessary.  Typical applications include pump lift stations, liquid level control users, grain elevators, refineries and paint rooms.    . . .
