Macromatic relays specify the power consumed by the device as “burden” in units of VA. Look for the burden specification in the catalog page for the specific device you have. The unit of VA(volt-amps) is essentially the same as Watts(power), current draw can be calculated in Amps by taking the VA specification and dividing by the voltage control voltage you are using to power the device.
THREE PHASE MONITOR RELAYS
Three-Phase Monitor Relays continuously monitor and detect voltage faults to protect equipment in three-phase systems. These relays retain indication and continue monitoring even with a lost phase. True RMS voltage measurement ensures more accurate sensing across more applications.
Protect Equipment Against Premature Equipment Failure
Three-Phase Monitor Relays are available with plug-in or Din-rail enclosures that offer protection from a combination of voltage faults: Phase Loss, Phase Reversal, Phase Unbalance, Under Voltage, or Over Voltage. These relays are compatible with most Wye or Delta systems with no connection to neutral required. Take a quick look at these popular products from Macromatic, PMPU in the PMP Series, and PMDU in the PMD Series.

PLUG-IN
PAP, PCP, PLP and PMP Series with plug-in enclosures use standard 8 pin octal sockets. These relays have a wide universal voltage range for use in more global applications.

DIN-RAIL
PBDU Series (17.5 mm wide) and PMD Series (52.5 mm wide) mount on 35 mm DIN-rail. Both can be panel mounted with two screws by extending the black clips from under the relays. Full fault indication on top of units facilitates easy troubleshooting.

Frequently Asked Questions About Three Phase Monitor Relays
All Macromatic three phase monitors offer phase loss protection to allow you to protect your equipment form damaging single phase conditions. Select the phase monitor relay that best fits your application needs.
Yes, the PMP and PMD Series offer a user-adjustable delay of 0.3 – 30 seconds trip delay for Unbalance, Overvoltage, and Undervoltage faults. Remaining Macromatic three phase monitor relays have factory set time delays built in to minimize nuisance trips while offering best in class protection.
Macromatic maintains an extensive cross reference database. Follow the link here.
A phase reversal condition would cause rotating equipment to run backwards. Most often this condition occurs due to miswiring during service. All Macromatic three phase monitor relays include protection from phase reversal allowing you to prevent running of the equipment under this condition.
We provide a detailed description and graphical representation of all our time delay relay function to help with selection, see link.
The function you are describe is the Retriggerable One Shot, setting E. The timing will start when there is a connection between A1 and S. This can be accomplished with a momentary or sustained switch placed between the two terminals.
