PERCENTAGE TIMERS
PTA Series Percentage Timers provide an economical method to deliver precise and reliable repeat cycle timing for critical applications such as agricultural irrigation. A potentiometer setting determines the ON time as a percentage of the total ON/OFF cycle time. Seven fixed total cycle times are available in seconds, minutes, and hours.
Accurate Timing For Critical Applications
Setting of the time delay is easy with a rotary potentiometer. The microprocessor-based control provides reliable and accurate timing for irrigation, power systems, automation, and other industrial processes requiring economical repeat cycle timing.

PANEL CUTOUT
PTA Series percentage timers mount with an industry-standard panel cutout and pattern. Models are available with or without memory of timing sequenece.

Frequently Asked Questions About Percentage Timers
Macromatic relays specify the power consumed by the device as “burden” in units of VA. Look for the burden specification in the catalog page for the specific device you have. The unit of VA(volt-amps) is essentially the same as Watts(power), current draw can be calculated in Amps by taking the VA specification and dividing by the voltage control voltage you are using to power the device.
