Small profile General Purpose Relays make the best use of panel space in applications with space restrictions. Side-by-side mounting simplifies installation and wiring. The relays are economical for reduced system cost, while providing durable and reliable operation.
Compact Side-by-side Mounting Reduces Costs
Three terminal configurations offer mounting versatility. Color coded “Push-to Test” buttons (orange for AC, blue for DC) enable easy testing and troubleshooting of control logic circuits. LED lights visually confirm energization. These lights are also color coded – red for AC and green for DC.

SLIM RELAYS
Narrow profile GS Series Relays and sockets are assembled as one unit for use together. The assembly is 0.25 in (6 mm) wide mounted on Din Rail, ideal for high-density applications. The unit provides one Form C contact rated at 6 Amp.
BLADE TERMINAL
Compact GB Series offer a choice of two Form C (rated 12 Amp), three Form C (10 Amp) or four Form C (6 Amp) contacts. These relays include LED indication and push-to-test button. Sockets can be either DIN-rail or screw-mounted with finger safe protection.
OCTAL (ROUND) TERMINALS
Select compact GR Series Relays with two Form C or three Form C contacts, both rated at 10 Amp. These relays include LED indication and push-to-test button. Sockets can be either DIN-rail or screw-mounted with finger safe protection.

Frequently Asked Questions About General Purpose Relays
Macromatic relays specify the power consumed by the device as “burden” in units of VA. Look for the burden specification in the catalog page for the specific device you have. The unit of VA(volt-amps) is essentially the same as Watts(power), current draw can be calculated in Amps by taking the VA specification and dividing by the voltage control voltage you are using to power the device.
Small profile General Purpose relays are economical for use in control panels with limited space. The test buttons on our relays are color coded for easy testing and troubleshooting of control logic systems – orange for AC and blue for DC units. The buttons can be locked in place with a simple 90-degree rotation. Transparent covers allow easy monitoring of operation and the condition of the contacts. Wiring diagrams and terminal identification is printed on the enclosures.
